Must have software for my Omnia

[NOTES] : FYI, i will not response any comment who asking me serial number or crack. If u really want to use crack software please search it from the net. The reason is no matter i’m using the crack one or not, i need to respect the developer. They have put their effort and time to develop the software. Please support them.

The great things about windows mobile is they give you very much flexibility and a lot of choices for you to install/customize according to your need. For myself, the bundle softwares that come from Samsung is ‘ok’ but still cannot fulfill my satisfaction..:) Here is my list of software installed on my Omnia together with actual screen shot.

0. Samsung Widget

Sorry, this is not a third party software.. Just want to share with you my widget screen. Although is not useful (only time and calendar) but i like the looks and the color combination. Looks like something different.

My Samsung Today 1 with non glossy black bar theme real black.

1. SU2U (Freeware)

This is unlock software like iphone. Very nice and easy to use.
But one thing i noticed, when i charge my phone while activating S2U2, the led light on Omnia will not becoming to green (that mean full charge). So, normally i just close the software while charging to make sure i got 100% charging.

2. SPB Mobile Shell (Shareware)

It’s a must have for everybody i think..:) because it is very stable, useful and fast.
I dont use any skin because so far i have tested HTC Diamond and Windows7 skins. But its not working on my Omnia.

3.iFonz (freeware)

Another iphone clone software..:) Windows mobile can be anything that u want..Hehe.. So far this is the best Iphone home screen for windows mobile. It has a lot of customization that u can choose. How about Winterface? Hmm..i dunno..because i got a problem when use winterface. My Omnia screen will blank and cannot turn on.

4. Resco Keyboard Pro 5.02 (Shareware)

Again, another iphone clone type. What i like about this keyboard is i feel more  accurate when typing. When you press the button, there will be a popup letter that u press and also beep sound. Compare to Samsung keyboard, u will feel like nothing when u press the button. But hey, they should provide another symbol like = and \.

5. Core Player (Shareware)

Same function like Samsung Touch Player. Can play divX file also. But i need this to play FLV file.

6. MemMaid (Shareware)

This is a great utility to clear out your memory, temp files, cache, history etc..Very easy to use. With just one click u can clear up ur memory space.

7. Flash Player 7 (Freeware)

to view flash on my browser.

8. Mapking 2007 (Shareware)

for my GPS usage. It’s quite heavy application. Not advisable to open many program while using Mapking. Another thing u need PortSplitter in order to make use of the Mapking GPS function.

9. Pocket Islam (Freeware)

for muslim only. Quite comprehensive software including Time Prayer, Quran, Tafseer, Hadith, Reciter, Azan and Qiblat.

10.  Resco Explorer 2008 (Shareware)

not so important actually because u can use the built in one, FileExplorer. But Resco Explorer is designed to be use with your finger thumb and also, it has a registry editor.

11. Modaco NoData (Freeware)

If ur Omnia alwayz keep connecting to GPRS even though u have Wifi connection, use this software to disable ur GPRS.

12. Shape Service IM+ (Shareware)

14. VITO FunContact, EyePhoto, AudioNoteTouch (Shareware)

FunContact – is a Windows Mobile contact manager that brings iPhone experience to your Pocket PC. I think is much more better than Samsung Contact

EyePhoto – Another image viewer. It is not very neccessary for me. Just install it for fun. Anyway good looking.

AudioNote – an mp3 audio recorder with finger-friendly interface.

15. Lexisgoo Dictionary (Shareware)

Winner of Best Dictionary in the 2005,2006 and 2007 PPC Awards! But too bad the display is not optimized for Omnia screen.

16. PocketCM ImageViewer (freeware)

One of the best image viewer freeware. Optimized for finger tap.

17. CapSure (freeware)

Screen capture utility. Dont know about other software but this one works ok for my Omnia.

18. Microsoft .Net CF 3.5 (Freeware)

To run the Ifonz u need this. Samsung only came out with .Net CF 2.0

Now, my storage memory only left 30mb and Program Memory at 55mb. All software i tried to install on my 16gb storage if possible. But some software like SU2U, SPB Mobile Shell and, Flash Player need to be installed on main memory.
